We’ve just had to have a car repaired that was repaired by BCA prior to us collecting the car as it was an assured car with a fault undeclared. Day we collected it the car wouldn’t start and being a 4 year old car bca allegedly put it into a dealer for repair.
Long story short we got the car after waiting 3 weeks and sold it to a customer. Next minute car had same fault. Customer takes it to main dealer fault found that bca’s contractor had botched the wiring and fitted a incorrect becm to the car. Call BCA they say fault lays with the dealer who they had repair it…. Call dealer first they said they ain’t never seen car when challenged said they can’t talk to us as their contract was with BCA. Call bca and they claim they won’t talk to the dealer….
So we end up £1200 out of pocket as we have to pay customers main dealer and now the war between our legal team and bca begins. Lesson learned if the car is 4 years old and bca ain’t stole it for Cinch then don’t buy it as it will be a problem that’s why they didn’t feed it into Cinch for sale. BCA stands for only one thing Buy Crap Again
That one was the final nail in the coffin. The was plenty more prior. Had help sorting some, but others we took on the chin. The level of quality and customer service has fallen now. I work with many vendors and buyers and the industry is noticing the same.

I had a grade 3 fiesta with cracked back bumper in description. Got delivered and my paint shop took the bumper off and the back panel and boot floor was crushed, car was basically totalled, had a grade 1 BMW3 series with assured report all good.
Then turned up and the clutch was slipping badly, cars with clean bill of health and turn up with engine management lights on, paperwork missing, incorrect number of keys and somewhere are about 50 parcel shelf’s of mine that was missing when the car arrives but was in the car when pictures taken…… they deserve to be closed down.
They don’t care it’s all about numbers to them, they’re so big they think they’re invincible. What they don’t realise is the trade talks. Vendors are leaving them everyday. Since they owned We Buy Any Car and Cinch they think they run the show.
All they’re doing now is being laughed at. They need to be closed down as it’s got that bad. You speak to their customer service and they give you excuse after excuse. Even upper management don’t care.

They are real bad. I purchase cars for a car finance company stock and we was buying 70 cars a month from them. Then a few months ago grading got worse, customer service vanished and now we steer well clear with buying from them. We use Mannheim and G3remarketing now. Good grading systems nice cars and lovely customer service
