BCA – British Car Auction – Walsall are absolute shambles

… and the customer service is atrocious, especially from the office manager CHRIS!Went to collect a car from the Walsall site and on arrival I was told the car is not ready yet as they’re trying to locate the keys. I waited two hours for the car and during that time I was being spun a different story each time the office staff went to check up on the car;-Keys are lost -Keys found but no location tag-Car cannot be found -Car found, waiting for paperwork-Cannot move car as it’s blockedAfter a load of silly excuses and as I was about to leave, i got told that the car is being driven out to the gates. Finally got the “lost” keys, sat in the car, started it and it sounded like a bloody tractor with all the lights lit up on the dash. Car was in limp mode and would hardly even touch 10mph!! It has clean green essential report, however, i was later told by bca that the report was from a previous sale of the car and was not valid for when the car was put through again for re-sale! So what changed in 10 days from the first report being green and clean to the car being in limp mode with all the lights lit up 10 days later…Anyways went to tell the “Manager” Chris although he might as well not even come to work the useless lump, that the car is in limp and cannot be driven especially a 60 mile trip back! Chris didn’t want to know, told me can’t do anything, sold as seen and the car is not classed as a non runner as it starts but then doesn’t bloody drive… I told Chris that they had been lying to me and all this time as they hadn’t lost the keys and then the car but in-fact they actually couldn’t start the car and hence made me wait over two hours. When i confronted him with that, it was so obvious they had been caught out, however, Chris started becoming a little confrontational and very petty and face looked like a kid who has been caught stealing candy. He started shouting and saying how can you allege us of doing that etc etc… Well how do you explain the car sounding like it’s about to blow up and the engine hardly even staying on!! Anyways, i think it’s quite obvious now that BCA are turning dash lights off, plugging in and deleting codes to get them out of limpmode etc. CHRIS from BCA Walsall, you’re an absolute waste of space, full of lies and useless! No customer service at all!!
